Being a hotel manager was my goal in life. Even since this semester began, I have been looking for a good university to transfer after I completed the Hotel and Restaurant program in CCSF. However, I found that there are not many universities in California offering this major. Most of the good ones were in Hawaii. Although I really want to go there, but the cost of living is too high for me. Before, I never have thought the transfer process would take so much time and planning. I used to think that I just need to choose few universities to apply, then wait, then move. I have never thought of all those small steps like thinking about how good is the major in those universities, the cost of living, the cost of the school, how far will it be and is that the right one for my major or not. Right now, I'm so glad that I have chosen to attended to CCSF's H&R program. Although it's only a two years program, but the cost of taking this class wasn't really expensive and the best thing about this program here was I gain lots of knowledge and experience here. We work in our school cafeteria/kitchen as if we are working in a real restaurant. I hope these 2 years in CCSF wouldn't pass too fast because I want to take more time to find a good university in CA to complete my goal.
