Throughout my life, I have been seeking for a life-long goal to accomplish. Until recently, the most complex decision came upon me - choosing a major. I chose Accounting.
I've really anticipate to choose my major for a long time, yet I am still unable to make any decisions at all. I am fearing for mistakes and making incorrect decisions. But I knew I have the strength in solving and analyzing word problems -- Math is my favorite subject. Therefore I have decided major in accounting. I've noticed that accounting was an extremely difficult and challenging major, and requires problem solving. In addition, one must be able to fulfill her prerequisites and take the license approval exam. Now, my goal is to accomplish this challenging major. Currently, I am planning to fulfill my lower division courses at CCSF and transfer to SFSU.
Accomplishing this goal is an extremely difficult task; However, I have the strength to over-throw it by taking small steps.

'The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step.'................. Old Eastern Proverb
No matter how big a goal is, it always takes small steps and commitment in the beginning. A commitment means not giving up when the going gets tough, when you fail and when people critize you. I have also learned from other people who are successful that almost all of them start from humble beginnings. Someone mentioned, "success is 5% talent and 95% hard work". From my experience, most goals takes years to accomplish.
My goal now has shifted from getting a degree, having a nice car or a successful career. It is to provide services to better humanity and this beautiful planet we live on.
